“How are the kids?”
“The kids are good, thanks!” Sound familiar? Seems to be my default when anyone asks me how my 8-year-old and 4-year-old are doing.
But you know what? They’re not *just* good. They are AMAZING. They are life-altering in the best possible way, inspiring, exciting, kind, confusing and, sometimes, infuriating.
Parenting is a wild ride and, although my life currently looks a lot less pushchairs and potty training, more school runs and screen-time battles, I’m still learning something new everyday.
I’m Sarah, and I’ve been writing about parenting since I had my first child in 2016, contributing to titles including The Independent, Tesco magazine, MadeForMums and Family Traveller. I love discovering new kids’ fashion brands, testing out the latest toys and finding the best family days out and holidays.
As a mum of two, I get that life is busy and sometimes you just want advice from someone who’s been there, done that and can share their honest opinion on what is actually worth your time/money. That’s exactly where The Kids Are Good comes in. A truthful take on parenting primary school-age kids, from someone in the thick of it.
